the scoop

We met on a blind date.

I knew his whole family (including grandma, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.) but I never knew him until the summer after high school when I was getting ready to jump in my car and move to Logan, UT for college. We saw each other (almost) every day for half of a summer. My mom said that it seemed like we both found our long-lost-best-bud. And that was exactly what it was.

I went to Logan and we dated long distance, but only for a few months (there was lots of driving during that experience). We both decided that long distance stuff wasn't so fun after all and he proposed Sep 22.

I said yes.

Fast forward to Dec. 27, 2007 when we got hitched in the Idaho Falls LDS temple. It was a cold, snowy day—but it was our day.

And we are still in L.O.V.E.

Now we have made it to sunny CA where jason is in optometry school. He's learning all about eyeballs and I'm a photographer, relaunching my biz down here where the sun is always shining. (so if you are in the area and need some rad photos you just go ahead and let me know!)

We like adventures and Bill O'Rielly, happy music, good friends and great food. We cry in movies, and sometimes we dance in our tiny kitchen. We're pretty much just two peeps trying to make it in CA, keepin it real, happy to be togetha.
