You guys are adorable! Ok I need to write you an email. I think I need details in this area as we are looking into the process and I know nothing haha! Praying for you guys!
Woohoo! Ty told me you were doing this soon but I didn't realize it was today soon! Good luck! I need to call you I've been a bad friend! Anyway, I hope it goes well!
Saw your blog on Sydney's and I went and read pretty much every post. Your story is so touching and I will be keeping you guys in my prayers.
Also, my husband is in optometry school too, in Philadelphia, but we are in the middle of rotations and just worked with guys from your husband's school.
Not sure why I told you, but small world. Anyway- thinking about your fam.
Just read every post with the label IVF. Thanks for sharing your journey. My man and I are going to do this sometime in the near future and I am glad to know your thoughts. thanks for being so brave and candid. seriously.
I am so sorry to hear about your husbands health. Thinking and praying for you both.
I just found your story from the daybook, I wanted to send you all my love and wish you the best luck EVER!
A couple years back my mom got really sick and I understand the rang of emotions that you must be going have. I will keep you and your husband in my thoughts! :)
I guess I'm not the only one who came across your blog today thanks to the Daybook. Just went through your entire archives and I just wanted to say how inspiring and moving your posts are. I'm praying for you guys - for everything - from the lung transplant, to your impregnation (I find it just as gross a word as you do, apparently!). Good luck!!! I'll be following along from now on :)
Hi, my name is Hollie, I actually went to school with Jason's brother Jon. I just came across your blog and I am so excited for you guys to be doing IVF! Last year at this same time my husband and I were also doing IVF and now a year later we have four month old twins!! I will be praying for you guys that everything goes perfectly! And make sure to relax and take it easy on those “princess days”!!
Just came here from Sydneys blog and cannot tell you how inspiring you both are. I've just donated to your cause. It isn't much but I want to help any way that I can. You are both in my thoughts and I wish you the very, very best!
Hi there! So weird I just came upon your blog - my husband and I did IVF this time last year and now have a almost 4 month old amazing daughter :) What an incredible journey you two are embarking on! You blog is moving, I will definitely keep reading!
I have come across your blog several times here and there..because of byu-idaho/photography/cf I have loved getting caught up on the last several of your posts. I just had a cousin receive a double lung/heart transplant at Stanford because of cf and she is doing amazing now. She lives in southern california {sharlie kaltenbach} Not sure if the cf community is super close but I hear it is. My heart & prayers are with you and your husband!!
Hello -- I just stumbled across your blog via The Daybook Blog. I've spent the past hour and a half just reading your old posts, and I wanted to take a moment to tell you how moved I am by your relationship. I am a grad student myself, and I am also madly in love with my high school sweetheart, who is now my husband. Other than that, it seems that my husband and I don't have much in common with you and Jason. We're from the Northeast, we are bleeding heart liberals, I'm terrible at science and could never be an optometrist, I can't take a good picture to save my life, we've never been to California, and we're not Mormon. But we are two young people who love each other. And reading about your relationship and all of the ways it is being tested and how gracefully and steadfastly you respond to each challenge just gets me right through the heart. I am inspired to be more humble, to express my love for my husband a little more, and to value each healthy moment together more. I just wanted to take a moment to let you know how touching your story is for me, and how many positive thoughts and prayers I will be sending your way. I hope Jason has a successful transplant and you both get a beautiful little baby in the near future. Thanks for sharing such a personal and beautiful story. I'll be thinking of both of you!
