So I've got lots of super awesome things I'm cooking up for this new year. New Year's resolutions you might say. They include, but are not limited to: Go to a Jack Johnson concert (fave), buy a new lens, book 3 clients I'm crazy-suuuuper-excited about, attend to a workshop or mentor session with one of my top 5 photogs, go on weekend trips with Jason—see stuff—love up all of CA, read 10 books (Alice in Wonderland series included, heard it was awesome), go to bed before midnight (11:00, so far so good) for the majority of nights, morning scripture study, morning personal prayer, exercise 5 days a week, oohhhh and lose weight (like lots of weight).
More on that last on in a minute. But for now—Here's to a bright new year!

SOunds like a busy year. I'm going to try Jillian Micheals 30-day shred that Aunt Millie mentioned. I could use a 20 minute kick-butt workout.
go geri! our goals sounds so simliar. i'm ready for the new year... last year kicked my trash.
i love this photo of you. did i ever tell you how bad i wanted to do a mini-session with you when you were here? next time...
Going to a concert sounds like a good idea :) Especially one you really want to go to!
It's pretty great though, that you are a photographer and have clients lined up, or potentially. Good for you, in this economy!
Read 10 books, not bad for one whole year. You can ask yourself...do blogs count? hehe. I mean they have pages, you just click them!
As for losing a lot of weight...please. As long as you're happy the way you are, who cares?! Unless losing weight would make you happy. I think you look great as you are.
Is that you in the pic? If so, love the ring!!
every picture you take is so beautiful! you're such a good photographer! i LOVE your blog:) love your goals too. i have some of the same ones:)
Good resolutions girl! I hate to admit it, but I've NEVER been to a "real" concert. Sad huh? That's a good one I should move over to my list I think!
p.s. I also think shadowing or learning/taking a class from a pro photographer would be sweet!
what great resolutions! :) love the 10 book thing.
xx.
May I just say I love your pictures!!! You are awesome...esp the lifestyle shots...my absolute fave!!!
You are seriously such an inspiration to me! You are always so positive, you're and amazing photographer (now that I have a nice new d5000, I've been loving photography more and more), you see the beauty in so many little things! Way to be! I miss your visits.
super duper goals. Why do goals scare me? I've even given talks on goals...many times. Better get on the stick, myself. Time to actually write them down.
i am bummed we were snowed/blowed in and didn't get to see you guys. total bummer.
next time.
Geri,
Would you mind telling me the name of the font you used for the reverse text "new year"? I like it.
You, my friend, are so talented.
I just realized it's your header font too.
sure thing! it's called Marketing Script and it's actually one of the very few good free ones..... :)
thanks!
