You didn't think we were done talking about the Taco Bus did you?
From the minute we moved to Southern CA (where I have been hopelessly looking for a replacement) I have been talking about the Taco Bus back in Rexburg. It is on the short list of things we miss from that little family community—topped only by family, hello! and the Christmas twinkle lights on Main Street (honestly the cutest small-town Christmas street ever).
It was Dec. 27 (our 3 yr anniversary. yay us!) and what better way to kick off the celebration?! Well, the Egbert clan (minus Kelsie and Tyler, you can see those two lovebirds' faces here) humored me and my Mexican food obsession, and we all piled in for lunch. Even the tiniest member of the family who stayed in her car-seat and didn't make a peep (pretty sure Isla likes tacos too).
Once we stepped up into the Taco Bus Gannon (that little fellow with the big brown eyes) jumped right into the driver's seat; which occupied him until there were some crashing noises and the steering wheel became off-limits—but we liked our two-year-old tour guide for as long as it lasted. We ordered our tacos and sat down to watch a real-life Soccer game, completely in Spanish with announcers yelling "GOAL!" periodically throughout the meal.
It was faaaaaantastic.
