Picked up that happy Christmas wreath on Monday right before my mom and Audrey jumped on the plane. There is a home decor store right up the road from us. We walked in, looked around for a little minute, as we were leaving I looked over my shoulder and this little beauty was shimmering in all of its sparkly-sparkly glory from the corner. I had to have it. Lately I've oooo'd and ahhhh'd over almost anything that sparkles.
Dear Jason, Please, pretty please remember that all I ever wanted in my stocking is that suuuuuuper glittery nail polish I showed you and wore for a day. Or this one by OPI Burlesque (did you know that you can try on nail polish online? pretty awesome. give it a whirl. you know you want to)! And everywhere I go there are sequin-sparkly shirts and tanks waving at me and saying hi. I love them and I want them to come home with me. Let's go shopping and I'll introduce you to my favorite ones. And if you decide to suprise me with one for Christmas I'll wear it allllll the time. Promise. With cardigans and my blazer and jackets and other shirts. You'll see. Then we can go to the stores you want to and you can try on jeans because that's your favorite thing to shop for. It'll be fun!
Anyway, speaking of bright and sparkly—you know how I said that my siss-ay brought her scissors and peroxide when she came for that quick little visit? Well she worked some serious magic on my locks and suddenly I'm blonde again! Hip-Hip! Can't tell you how pumped I am to not have 6 inches of roots staring me in the face every morning. Now I kind of like to get up and do my hair. I maybe even look forward to it a little bit!
Funny what good hair does to a girl's confidence!
Well, back to work now. Got lots and lots and lots to do before I ship out on Monday.
